ED Serves Fresh Notice To Ambati Rambabu In Liquor Scam
The Enforcement Directorate, or ED, is investigating alleged problems in liquor transportation tenders.
It has asked former minister Ambati Rambabu to answer questions.
The latest notice tells him to appear in Hyderabad on September 28.
The meeting is scheduled for 10:30 in the morning.
Rambabu was previously asked to appear on September 11 and September 25.
He did not attend those appearances.
He said he did not receive the first notice and was unwell when asked to attend the later one.
The ED also sent the latest notice through WhatsApp and informed him by phone.

Rambabu was asked to appear at the ED office in Hyderabad on September 28 at 10:30 a.m.
The inquiry concerns alleged irregularities in liquor transportation tenders.
Rambabu previously said he could not attend because of ill-health.
