Tiger Rescued After Entering Courtyard in Mandla Village
A young tiger entered the courtyard of a house in Aroli village.
The day before, it had injured a woman who was sleeping outdoors.
She was taken to hospital for treatment.
On Thursday morning, forest officials, police and a special force worked together to rescue the tiger.
They moved it to a quarantine centre near Mukki.
Officials said the rescue was needed to help prevent people and wild animals from coming into conflict.
They increased night patrols in the village.
They also asked villagers to stay indoors at night and report sightings of wild animals.

The same tiger had injured 46-year-old Ramli Bai in an attack the previous night.
Ramli Bai was taken to Mandla hospital and later referred to Jabalpur hospital.
