Theegala and Rai Headline Indian-Origin Challenge at Wyndham Championship
This week, some of the best golfers in the world are playing in a tournament called the Wyndham Championship.
It is the last regular tournament of the year for the PGA Tour, a big golf organization.
Two golfers of Indian origin, Sahith Theegala and Aaron Rai, are the main players to watch.
Aaron Rai won this same tournament in 2024 and also won a huge championship called the PGA Championship this year.
Theegala was hurt in 2025, but he is healthy again and playing very well.
After this tournament, the FedExCup Playoffs begin with the top 70 players.
The field will shrink to 50 players and then to just 30 for the final Tour Championship.

Theegala, the 28-year-old Pepperdine graduate backed by Hero, returned from an injury-hit 2025 with top-10s including T6 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and T-11 at the U.S. Open.
Rai opens from the 10th tee with Tom Kim and J.T. Poston, while Theegala starts from the first tee with Jackson Koivun and Hideki Matsuyama.
