The case began after Mohan Lal complained that his daughter, Veervati, died in suspicious circumstances.

He alleged that her in-laws had harassed her over dowry demands.

Police said the three were declared proclaimed offenders in January 2010.

Another accused, Ram Khiladi, had earlier been sentenced to 10 years in prison.

The three arrested people appeared in court on Wednesday and were sent to judicial custody.
