Telangana Forest Officer Dies of Electric Shock from Poachers' Trap
A forest officer named Naveen had a dangerous job protecting forests and wild animals.
Some people called poachers sometimes set traps to catch or kill wild animals, which is against the law.
On Tuesday, Naveen got a call warning him about electric wire traps in the forest.
He went out in the afternoon and found and removed at least six traps.
That evening, he went back out to check for more traps.
While walking through the forest around 9 pm, his leg touched a live electric wire.
The shock was so strong that he sadly died.
His fellow workers told the police, who started an investigation.
His body was taken to a hospital for doctors to examine.
