Statesman opens entries for rural, environmental journalism awards
The Statesman is a big newspaper in India.
It gives awards to journalists who write excellent stories.
There are three awards for writing about life in Indian villages.
There is also one award for writing about the environment.
The environmental award comes from the CR Irani Foundation.
Winners can receive cash prizes of up to 25,000 rupees.
Journalists must have published their stories in 2025.
