The temple is called the BAPS Swaminarayan Hindu Mandir.

Modi said the temple shows the cultural friendship between India and France.

He said it represents the idea that the whole world is one family.

The temple’s religious ceremony was performed by Mahant Swami Maharaj.

Modi said India and France are also working closely in technology, artificial intelligence, defence, space and climate action.

He mentioned that 2026 is being celebrated as the India-France Year of Innovation.

He also remembered Indian soldiers who served and sacrificed their lives in France.

Modi said he felt connected to the people at the ceremony even though he was not there in person.
