Aman Gupta Invests in Awayddings with Naming Condition

Aman made a special condition that his name should not be linked to the business because he didn't want to deal with any problems that might come up, like missing towels or unhappy customers.
The founders, Ashish and Vijay, wanted the money to grow their business.
Other investors on the show were worried about the challenges of running a wedding business, like making sure everything goes smoothly and handling payments.
In the end, only Aman decided to invest, and he even danced to celebrate the deal.

The startup posted a revenue of Rs 1.95 crore in 2024-25 with an EBITDA margin of 10-12%, and has recorded Rs 1.17 crore in year-to-date revenue for 2025-26.
All other Sharks except Aman opted out of the deal, citing challenges in scaling and standardizing the wedding business.
