Railways approve Gorakhpur-Delhi Amrit Bharat Express for affordable travel
Indian Railways has approved a brand new train that will travel between two big cities, Gorakhpur and Delhi.
The train is called the Amrit Bharat Express.
It will be a more affordable option for people who do not have a lot of money.
The train will cover about 780 kilometres, which is a very long distance.
It will take around 14 hours to get from Gorakhpur to Delhi.
The train can go as fast as 130 kilometres per hour.
A group called the Railway Board said yes to the train on August 10, 2026.
The North Eastern Railway will take care of running and maintaining the train.

The Railway Board approved regularisation of train 05057/05058 Gorakhpur-Delhi Special as the 15095/15096 Gorakhpur-Delhi Amrit Bharat Express in an August 10, 2026 letter.
The new Amrit Bharat Express will cover about 780 km between Gorakhpur and Delhi in around 14 hours.
The train will run at a maximum speed of 130 kmph.
The service will be operated and maintained by the North Eastern Railway.
