Second Death Reported Near Mumbai’s Lalbaugcha Raja Pandal
A 68-year-old man named Vijay Aanekar became unconscious near a Ganesh festival site in Mumbai.
He was sitting near a Hanuman temple close to the Lalbaugcha Raja pandal.
This happened on Thursday night.
People took him to Global Hospital in Parel.
A doctor said he had already died when he arrived.
Officials did not immediately know why he died.
This was the second death reported in the Lalbaug area during the festival.
Earlier, 25-year-old Jaideep Meghraj Nemade died after a medical emergency at the pandal on September 17.
Vijay Aanekar, 68, died after becoming unconscious near the Lalbaugcha Raja pandal.
The incident occurred on Thursday night near a Hanuman temple in central Mumbai.
Aanekar was taken to Global Hospital in Parel and declared brought dead.
Officials said the cause of death was not immediately known.
The death was the second reported in the Lalbaug area during the 12-day Ganesh festival.
