Total expenses increased to ₹481.83 crore from ₹347.29 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
The state-owned firm plans a capital expenditure of ₹7,188.90 crore over five years to expand mining operations.
HCL, India's only copper ore mining company, projects ore production rising from 4.21 MTPA in 2025-26 to 12.20 MTPA by 2029-30.
