Annual YMCA Kargil Victory Sports Festival Begins in Hyderabad

The YMCA in Hyderabad is holding a big sports festival for school kids.

It is called the Kargil Victory Sports Festival, and this is the 26th time it is happening.

The festival started on Thursday at the YMCA Narayanguda branch.

A police officer named J. Anyonya came to officially open the festival.

Many schools are playing games like kabaddi, kho kho and volleyball.

On the first day, Johnson Grammar School played very well and won in both boys' and girls' volleyball.

Other schools, like Chaitanya Bharati School and Hyderabad Public School, also won their first games.

In kabaddi, Chaitanya Bharati School beat Naveena School by a big score.

In kho kho, Vyas Model School and Rajasri Vidya Mandir were among the winners.

The festival will continue with more games in the coming days.
