Odisha Congress Forms New Team Ahead Of Local Polls

The Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee has formed a new organizational team ahead of next year’s panchayat elections.
The All India Congress Committee created a 29-member political affairs committee led by Lalji Desai.
The party also announced 71-member executive and 40-member advisory committees.
Fifteen senior leaders were appointed vice-presidents, while 57 became general secretaries and 72 became secretaries.
OPCC president Bhakta Charan Das urged leaders to avoid groupism and work together to strengthen the party.
