India Advances Hydrogen Energy with Vessel and Car
India has taken big steps towards using clean energy.
On December 11, 2025, they launched their first boat that runs on hydrogen fuel in Varanasi.
This boat was started by a government official and shows that India can make clean energy technology on its own.
Around the same time, another government official arrived at Parliament driving a hydrogen-powered car called the Toyota Mirai.
This car is special because it doesn't make any pollution and only lets out water vapour.
The official said that India has started a mission to use more green hydrogen, and a deal was made between Toyota and a solar energy institute.
Another official talked about how India spends a lot of money on importing energy and how making ethanol from maize has helped farmers earn more money.
