Toyota and NISE Collaborate on Hydrogen Energy
Toyota, a big car company, and NISE, a solar energy research group, have teamed up to test a special car called the Mirai.
This car runs on hydrogen, which is a clean energy source.
They want to see if the car works well in India's different weather and road conditions.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor signed an MoU with the National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE) to accelerate the hydrogen-based energy ecosystem in India.
The Toyota Mirai, a hydrogen fuel-cell electric vehicle, was handed over to NISE for real-world feasibility and performance evaluation under Indian conditions.
The evaluation will assess fuel efficiency, real-world range, drivability, refuelling behaviour, performance in diverse terrains, and environmental resilience.
