Railways Extend Special Trains Amid Festive Season Demand
Several railway services are getting extra trips or changed schedules.
The Dadar-Bhusaval weekly special will run until November 27.
This is intended to help people travel during the busy festive season.
Bookings for its extended trips begin September 29.
The Jalna-Yelahanka special will run on Sundays and Mondays during October.
It is being extended for Dussehra, Diwali and Chhat travel.
Another train service between Bengaluru and Ashokapuram will continue starting and ending at Mysuru instead.
This change will remain in place until March 27, 2027.
Western Railway extended the Dadar-Bhusaval Weekly Special through November 27.
Bookings for the extended Dadar-Bhusaval trips open September 29 via reservation centres and IRCTC.
South Central Railway extended Jalna-Yelahanka services for Dussehra, Diwali and Chhat travel.
The Jalna-Yelahanka special will run Sundays from October 4 to 25, with return trips Mondays from October 5 to 26.
A temporary change to KSR Bengaluru-Ashokapuram MEMU services will continue until March 27, 2027.
