WB SSC Teacher Recruitment: Exams Held, High Turnout Reported
The West Bengal government held exams for assistant teacher positions for higher classes.
Around 229,497 candidates took the test on Sunday, which is about 93% of the registered candidates.
The exams took place after nine years, with many centers across the state.
A significant number of candidates came from outside of West Bengal, mostly from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
