Gwalior Set to Become Asia’s First Telecom Manufacturing Hub
Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh may soon become a major place for making telecom equipment.

About 24 companies have begun applying to establish units in Gwalior’s proposed Telecom Manufacturing Zone.

Around 170 acres have been identified across SADA and the Gwalior IT Park for the first phase.
The zone will cover six telecom manufacturing verticals and may include a Common Testing Lab costing about Rs 500 crore.
Government incentives will cover land leases, power use, employment, production, environmental sustainability and green development.
