India's Mustard Output May Rise 10% in 2025-26
India's mustard production might go up by 10% in the next year, 2025-26.
This is because more land is being used to grow mustard and the weather has been good so far.
The government wants to produce 139 lakh tonnes of mustard, which is more than last year's 126.67 lakh tonnes.
However, there might be some problems because of rain and hailstorms in the next few days.
The land used for mustard has increased in states like Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh.
But in some places like Jharkhand and the northeastern states, the land used for mustard has decreased.
