Cristiano Ronaldo Marries Georgina Rodriguez in Private Portugal Ceremony

Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the most famous soccer players in the world, and he is 41 years old.

He married his longtime partner, Georgina Rodriguez, who is 32 years old and was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The couple met in Madrid, where Rodriguez was working at a Gucci store while Ronaldo played for Real Madrid.

On Tuesday, August 11, they got married in a small, private civil ceremony in Cascais, a coastal town in Portugal near Lisbon.

Their five children were there to watch them say 'I do.'

After the wedding, they shared a photo on Instagram of their hands wearing new wedding rings, with the simple caption 'C ❤️ G.' The wedding happened exactly one year after Rodriguez announced on Instagram that they were engaged.

Portuguese media called the ceremony the 'wedding of the year.'

Ronaldo has won the Ballon d'Or five times and now plays soccer for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, with his new season starting on Saturday.
