Mysuru woman dies by suicide after workplace harassment, dismissal

A woman named Nageshwari lived in Mysuru, India, and worked at a private supermarket as a sales executive.

She had a new supervisor named Dolly who, she said, was very unkind to her.

Nageshwari said she was not allowed to take her days off for the last four months.

When she got sick and needed a few days off, her job was taken away from her.

She was very upset and wrote a note explaining how badly she was treated at work.

She also said she was blamed for mistakes she did not make.

Then she drank a poison used to kill pests and insects.

Her husband found her and rushed her to the hospital, but doctors said she had already died.

Police are now investigating what happened and the things she wrote in her note.
