President Murmu Urges India to Honor Teachers and Learning

President Droupadi Murmu wrote a message thanking teachers across India.

She said teachers help children learn facts, skills and good values.

She remembered that former presidents Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and A. P. J. Abdul Kalam both respected teaching greatly.

Murmu said good teachers are patient, fair and caring.

They also help children ask questions, think independently and solve problems.

She shared that she once taught children in Rairangpur, Odisha.

She said students can teach their teachers through their curiosity and enthusiasm.

Murmu believes teachers, parents and other role models all help children grow.

She asked everyone to respect teachers and help India learn and lead.
