Police seize ganja, arrest three in Andhra Pradesh
Police in Ongole, Andhra Pradesh, checked trains and the station to stop people from carrying illegal drugs.
They found 11 kilograms of ganja on the Ernakulam Express train and arrested three men.
In a separate incident, the EAGLE Force in Hyderabad caught a 17-year-old boy with 10 kilograms of ganja.
The boy was being used by drug sellers to transport drugs from Odisha to Mumbai.
The police said they will punish anyone who carries, sells, or uses these drugs.
People can call special numbers to tell the police if they see something suspicious.
Police conducted checks at Ongole Railway Station and seized 11 kg of ganja from the Ernakulam Express train.
Three individuals were arrested in Ongole: G Sandil Kumar, B Murugan, and Blessin.
The accused were handed over to the Government Railway Police for further investigation.
In Hyderabad, the EAGLE Force apprehended a 17-year-old juvenile with 10 kg of ganja at Nature Cure Hospital railway station.
The juvenile was allegedly being used by Mumbai-based drug syndicates for interstate drug trafficking.
