In a town called Karimnagar in India, there have been more fights between groups of people lately.

These fights started mostly because of old grudges, but now they also involve politics and political parties.

One night, a man named Guguloth Srikanth and his brother were hurt in an attack in an area called Kishan Nagar.

The attackers used knives and broken beer bottles.

The police arrested seven people, including a local leader named Somidi Venu Prasad, who belongs to a political party called the BJP.

Srikanth says the leader was behind the attack because of an old rivalry.

There was also an earlier fight in an area called Godamgadda where a young person got hurt.

Before that, BJP workers damaged the office of an MLA named Gangula Kamalakar.

The two main parties, the BJP and the BRS, are blaming each other for the trouble.
