Manikonda Residents Seek HYDRAA Action Against Alleged Land Encroachment
Residents in Manikonda are worried that some people may try to take over protected land.

A residents’ delegation led by Arvapalli Vamshi met HYDRAA Commissioner AV Ranganath to raise the concerns.
Ranganath assured the delegation that efforts would be made to protect the lands and directed senior inspectors to inspect the sites.
Residents requested HYDRAA’s support to develop a park on 6,054 square yards of the protected land.
HYDRAA said the park proposal would be examined, according to Vamshi.
