A person went to an ATM to take out money.

The machine took Rs 10,000 out of their account, but no cash came out.

The person complained to the bank many times, but the bank did not give the money back.

So the person went to a special court in Kerala that helps unhappy customers.

This court is called the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission in Kozhikode.

The court asked the bank to show proof that the machine gave out the money.

The bank could not prove it.

So the court said the bank made a mistake and treated its customer unfairly.

The bank must now return the Rs 10,000 and pay an extra Rs 5,000 because the customer was upset and stressed.

In total, the bank must pay Rs 15,000.
