Haryana is using computer maps to plan new buildings, roads and other infrastructure.

These maps combine information from many government departments.

They help officials check whether a location is suitable much faster than before.

A review found that checks that once took 40-45 days can now take one or two days.

The system is being used for hospitals, bus terminals, industrial townships and irrigation projects.

In Nuh, it is helping officials find places where healthcare facilities are difficult to reach.

Haryana has also added more projects and trained hundreds of officials to use the system.

Officials are working to connect more government data so everyone can plan from the same information.
