Heavy rain eased hot and humid conditions in parts of Delhi on Thursday, while cloudy skies persisted.
The India Meteorological Department forecast light rain and possible evening thunderstorms in Delhi, with temperatures between 31°C and 33°C.
The monsoon remained active in Himachal Pradesh, Assam, Gujarat, Odisha, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh.
Red alerts were issued for extremely heavy rainfall in Uttar Pradesh districts including Banda, Prayagraj and Mirzapur.
In Himachal Pradesh, 166 roads were blocked, while Odisha reported 429 flood-affected villages across 52 blocks as of August 15.
