Ekatra Foundation launches Gujarati digital magazine for diaspora readers
The Ekatra Foundation has created a free online magazine for people who read Gujarati.
It is called Vachan Milap.
The magazine collects interesting articles from different Gujarati publications.
It is meant to help people who cannot easily find or read many Gujarati sources.
This includes Gujarati people living in other parts of India and in other countries.
The first issue was edited by Dankesh Oza.
Readers can also listen to an audio summary when they are busy.
The magazine is not meant to support one political party or ideology.
Its creators hope it will encourage more people, including young people, to read thoughtful Gujarati writing.

The project draws inspiration from Mahendra Meghani’s Gujarati magazine Milap, published from 1950 to 1978.
