Lawyer restores Khila Warangal college science labs in parents' memory
A lawyer named Thigal Jeevan Goud repaired science labs at a government college in Khila Warangal.
The labs had been closed before the repairs.
He paid about Rs.
65,000 from his own money.
He did this to remember his parents, Sugunamma and Veeraswamy Goud.
Students can now perform experiments while learning science.
An education officer said experiments help students understand lessons better.
He thanked the lawyer for helping the college.
He also encouraged others to support government schools and colleges.
Local lawyer Thigal Jeevan Goud refurbished closed science laboratories at Government Junior College, Khila Warangal.
He spent about Rs. 65,000 on the restoration in memory of his parents, Sugunamma and Veeraswamy Goud.
District Intermediate Education Officer Dr. Sridhar Suman attended the reopening ceremony as chief guest.
Suman said hands-on experiments would help students understand scientific concepts taught in classrooms.
College staff, students, parents, community members, retired staff and local artists attended the programme.
