450-Year-Old Doerner Fir Burning in Oregon

Imagine a really old and tall tree, like, super old, that's been around for over 400 years!

This tree, called the Doerner Fir, is in Oregon and is one of the tallest trees that isn't a redwood.

Unfortunately, it caught fire!

The fire started a few days ago and has already burned off part of the top.

Firefighters are trying their best to put it out using special tools like helicopters and sprinklers.

They're not sure what caused the fire, but they know it wasn't lightning.

Even though some of the tree has burned, it's so big that it will take a long time for the whole thing to be consumed.

It's a special tree, and people like to hike near it, but now the trail is closed.
