Dhar Child Seeks Green Ganesh Site, Police Host Safety Event
A five-year-old boy named Siwan Joshi visited officials in Dhar with an environmental request.
He asked for one clean place where large Ganesh idols could be immersed.
He said using many ponds might pollute the water.
He suggested three possible places for the immersion site.
He also wanted teams to help keep waste out of ponds and ghats.
On the same Tuesday, Dhar’s Women’s Police Station held a programme for girls.
About 430 students learned about personal safety, cybercrime and online fraud.
They were also told about emergency and women’s helpline numbers.
Five-year-old Siwan Joshi asked Dhar officials to designate a clean site for immersing large Ganesh idols.
He warned that immersions in different ponds could pollute water bodies and harm the environment.
Joshi suggested Munj Talab, the entry point of Sagar, or Filter Kund as possible locations.
He also requested special teams at ponds and ghats to stop worship materials and waste from entering the water.
Dhar’s Women’s Police Station held a safety programme for about 430 girls covering personal safety, cybercrime and helplines.
