HAL Delivers Tejas, HTT-40 and Dhruv NG Aircraft

The first three serial-production HTT-40 basic trainers were delivered under a 70-aircraft contract worth Rs 6,838 crore.
Four civil-certified Dhruv NG helicopters were handed over to Pawan Hans from a 10-helicopter order worth more than Rs 1,800 crore.
The HTT-40, named Ankur, is intended for basic military pilot training, while Tejas trainers support advanced fighter conversion.
The Dhruv NG handover marks HAL’s entry of the helicopter into civil aviation, including offshore transport, air ambulance and regional connectivity roles.
