The Punjab BJP plans to hold four marches across Punjab.

They will be called “Nasha Mukt Punjab Yatras,” which means marches for a drug-free Punjab.

The first march will begin on September 18 in Madhopur, Pathankot.

BJP president Nitin Nabin will start that march.

The other marches will begin in Fatehgarh Sahib, Fazilka, and Talwandi Sabo.

All four marches will travel through many Assembly constituencies and finish in Jalandhar.

The BJP says the marches are meant to raise awareness about drugs and discuss law-and-order problems and corruption.

Party leaders say drug addiction is hurting families and Punjab’s young people.
