Delhi Chief Minister flags urban naxalism in Viksit Bharat speech

The chief minister of Delhi, Rekha Gupta, gave a big speech to celebrate India's Independence Day.

She said Delhi is a very important city that can show other cities how to grow and develop.

She thanked the national government for giving Delhi money for 61 new projects.

She said the city will help India become a developed nation, which is called Viksit Bharat.

She also talked about programs that help people, like health centers with free medicines and money for women and girls.

Delhi has more than 4,000 electric buses to help keep the air clean.

She told young people not to spend all their time on social media.

Instead, she said, they should use their ideas to build the country.

She warned them against 'Urban Naxalism,' which she said can harm the nation's unity, integrity and dignity.

She believes Delhi is ready to become a model for the whole country.
