IITs Offer Scholarships and Fellowships to Top Exam Rankers
Several IITs are offering extra financial help to students who score very highly in national entrance exams.
IIT Kharagpur will give selected top GATE rankers a monthly fellowship while they study for a PhD.

IIT Kanpur’s Bright Minds Scholarship gives top-100 JEE Advanced rankers Rs 3 lakh annually for up to four years, subject to an 8.0 CPI.
IIT Roorkee awards eligible JEE Advanced rankers up to rank 250 Rs 25,000 monthly if they maintain an 8.0 CGPA.
IIT Delhi combines JEE Advanced performance with income criteria in one scholarship and is establishing a separate full-ride fellowship for five top entrants.
