Leaders Stress Science and Dharma
At a big meeting called the Bharatiya Vigyan Sammelan in Tirupati, two important leaders spoke about how science and dharma (which means natural law) are connected.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said India is becoming a strong global power if its people, knowledge, and talents stay connected to traditional values.
He suggested that families should have three children to keep the population strong.
He also talked about the importance of teaching young people about India's cultural and intellectual roots, like stories of Rama, Krishna, and others.
He mentioned various initiatives like operating a quantum computer and developing special centers for space, drones, aerospace, electronics, and medical technology in Andhra Pradesh.
RSS leader Dr Mohan Bhagwat said that science and dharma both aim to understand truth, though they follow different paths.
He stressed that power and progress should not be used for destruction and that science guided by dharma can lead to genuine development and help build a balanced, happy, and harmonious society.
He also talked about how material comforts alone cannot make people happy and that happiness is not purely physical.
Both leaders emphasized the importance of connecting with India's cultural and intellectual roots while advancing in science and technology.
