ICC Announces 2027 ODI World Cup Schedule, India-Pakistan Clash
The ICC has announced the schedule for the 2027 ODI World Cup.
India will play Australia first on October 7 in Cape Town.
India will then play Pakistan in Johannesburg on October 10.
India’s other group opponents are Afghanistan, Zimbabwe and a team called Qualifier A. The tournament will be held in South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe.
Fourteen teams will take part in 57 matches.
After the group games, the best teams will enter a Super 7 stage.
The top four teams in that stage will reach the semi-finals.
The final will be played in Johannesburg on November 21.
India will open against defending champions Australia in Cape Town on October 7, 2027.
India and Pakistan will meet in Johannesburg on October 10 during the Group Stage.
India’s other Group A matches are against Afghanistan, Qualifier A and Zimbabwe.
