Bhatia-led consortium with Bezos, Saverin to buy 30% Liverpool stake
Some very rich people want to buy part of a famous football club.
The club is Liverpool Football Club, which plays in England.
The person leading the group is Amit Bhatia, whose father-in-law is a very wealthy businessman named Lakshmi Mittal.
The other people in the group include Jeff Bezos, who started Amazon, and Eduardo Saverin, who helped start Facebook.
They want to buy 30 percent of the club, not all of it.
The club is currently owned by a company called Fenway Sports Group.
If the deal happens, Fenway will still be the main owner.
The new investors could give Liverpool more money to spend and help find new sponsors.
Fans hope this will make the club stronger.
