Royal Enfield Himalayan 440 India Launch: What Buyers Can Expect
Royal Enfield is preparing to launch a new adventure motorcycle called the Himalayan 440.
It is expected to be sold in India on Friday, September 4.
The bike uses an engine similar to the one in the Scram 440.
That engine is expected to make 25.4 horsepower and 34 Nm of torque.
It will likely have six gears to help with highway riding.
Its shape and equipment are similar to the older Himalayan 411.
The bike is expected to have large 21-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels, but with tubed tyres.

The motorcycle is based on the Scram 440 platform but uses Himalayan 411-inspired design and hardware.
