HDFC Bank appoints V.N. Srivatsan as chief compliance officer
HDFC Bank has chosen V.N. Srivatsan to become its new compliance chief.
The compliance chief helps make sure the bank follows important rules.
Srivatsan will serve for three years.
He will take over after Rakesh Kumar Rajput finishes his term on September 30, 2026.
Until Srivatsan starts, Venkateswaran L will handle the job’s responsibilities.
Srivatsan currently works at ICICI Bank.
He has about 34 years of professional experience, including around 25 years in banking and related services.
HDFC Bank said the appointment follows rules issued by the Reserve Bank of India.
