Collector Directs Expedited R&R for Nallamala Displaced Families
The District Collector in Nagarkurnool has told officials to hurry up with building new homes and giving land to families who had to leave their homes in the Nallamala Reserve Forest.
They want to build 257 houses in the first part of the project and give each family 5 acres of land and a place to build their house.
The Collector wants everything to be ready by August 10 and for all the necessary things like roads, water, and electricity to be set up before the families move in.
They are also building a childcare center and public toilets in the new area.
District Collector Hemanta Keshav Patil directed officials to expedite the rehabilitation of families displaced from Nallamala Reserve Forest.
257 houses to be constructed in the first phase for families from five villages in the Achampet Assembly constituency.
Each beneficiary family to receive 5 acres of agricultural land and a 250-square-yard house site.
Deadline for land allotment documents is August 10.
Basic infrastructure including roads, water supply, electricity, and sanitation to be completed before families move in.
