Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold Teaser Ahead of August 12 Launch

Google is about to show off a brand-new folding phone called the Pixel 11 Pro Fold.

Before the big show, Google shared a short 15-second teaser video on YouTube so people could see its design.

The video shows the phone opening up, revealing a big inner screen and a look at the camera on the back.

The full announcement will happen on August 12 at Google's "Made by Google" event.

People who follow tech news expect the phone to be very fast, powered by Google's own new chip called the Tensor G6.

They also expect it to have an 8-inch screen on the inside and a 6.4-inch screen on the outside, and to run Android 17 with Google's smart Gemini features.

The phone is expected to be pricey, costing around 2,000 euros in Europe and about $1,899 in the United States.

Google will be competing with folding phones from Samsung, like the Galaxy Z Fold 8, and Apple's first foldable.

At the same event, Google is also expected to show its next smartwatch, the Pixel Watch 5, alongside the Pixel 11 lineup.

One thing is unclear: reports disagree on where the event will be held — one says New York, and another says California.
