Old records show that her great-grandfather, Ahn Sang Ho, was linked to a group called the Daejeong Friendship Association in 1916.

People are calling this a 'pro-Japanese' controversy.

At first, Ha Young's agency said this was not true.

Now the agency has changed its answer and confirmed the records.
