A car crashed into the wall around Thiruvananthapuram International Airport.

Police said the driver may have been drunk.

Before reaching the airport, the car reportedly hit a motorcycle.

The motorcycle riders were injured.

The car then continued at high speed toward Shanghumugham.

It crashed through the airport’s perimeter wall near the Shanghumugham Air Force Station.

Three people riding in the car were also hurt.

The driver was taken to a hospital for blood tests.

Officials repaired the opening temporarily with metal sheets and added police security.
