Andhra Pradesh held a conference in Visakhapatnam to attract businesses and investment.

The government said it secured nearly Rs 25,000 crore in investment commitments through 31 agreements.

These agreements are expected to create nearly 57,000 jobs.

Four companies named in the announcement made some of the largest commitments.

At the same time, 33 projects worth Rs 3,519 crore were started or opened.

Those projects are expected to provide 9,449 direct jobs.

The government plans to hold more regional conferences through October.

The events are leading up to a business summit in Visakhapatnam in November.
