Nagpur Woman Trafficked, Sold in Portugal After Job Promise
Indian woman allegedly sold to Portugal beer shop owner after overseas job promise · firstpost.com

A woman from Nagpur in India wanted a good job in another country.

She found a company called 'We Migrate' on Instagram that promised her a job in Portugal.

They told her she would earn a lot of money and work only eight hours a day.

She paid them about 11 lakh rupees for the visa and paperwork.

But when she arrived in Portugal, the bad people took her passport and locked her in a room for two days.

They sold her to a beer shop owner who made her work and treated her cruelly.

After almost one month, she ran away by bus to Lisbon, went to Madrid, and flew home to India through Doha.

When she got back, the same people asked for more money and threatened her family.
