NMMC Orders Fire Safety Audit of Navi Mumbai Coaching Centres

The city government in Navi Mumbai is making sure that buildings where children go for extra classes after school are safe.

Recently, there were fires and building problems in other cities.

So the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation, also called NMMC, decided to check every coaching centre and tuition class.

A leader named Dr. Kailas Shinde is in charge, and he asked inspectors to visit these buildings quickly.

Each coaching centre must show official papers that prove the building is strong and safe from fire.

If they don't have these papers, they need to get them.

The NMMC will also announce these new rules to the public.

The city is doing other things too, like checking billboards, dealing with illegal hawkers, and cleaning public toilets.

The most important thing is that students and citizens stay safe.

It is better to prevent problems before a tragedy happens than to respond after one.
