Delhi-NCR Housing Prices Climb 12% Despite Subdued Sales
Homes in Delhi-NCR became more expensive in the third quarter of 2026.
The average price reached ₹9,980 for each square foot, which was 12% higher than a year earlier.
But the number of homes sold was slightly lower than it was in the same period last year.
Across seven major Indian city markets, prices rose by 7% on average.
ANAROCK linked rising costs for land and building materials to the increases.
More new homes were also in the expensive category: over 34% cost more than ₹2.5 crore.
Industry executives said better transport links, infrastructure and job opportunities continue to support demand, especially for premium homes.
Delhi-NCR’s average residential price reached ₹9,980 per sq ft in Q3 2026, up 12% year over year.
The region recorded the fastest annual price growth among the seven major cities tracked by ANAROCK.
Delhi-NCR sold 13,765 housing units in July–September 2026, down 1% from 13,920 a year earlier.
