iOS 27 Rebuilds Siri With Personal Context and App Actions
Apple has given Siri a major redesign in iOS 27.
Siri now has its own app where conversations can be saved and revisited.
It can search information on your iPhone, such as messages, emails and photos.
Siri can also understand what is on your screen and take actions in other apps.
For example, it can turn an address in a message into directions or a calendar event.
A new Camera feature lets Siri read receipts, recognize food information and collect contact details from business cards.
These advanced features work only on newer iPhones, starting with the iPhone 15 Pro.
English is available first, while some other languages are expected in October.
The feature is not available in the European Union or China at launch.
iOS 27, released September 14, introduces a redesigned Siri AI assistant with its own app and saved conversations.
Siri can search messages, emails, photos and other on-device information to answer questions and complete tasks.
Onscreen awareness lets Siri interpret displayed content and perform actions such as mapping addresses, creating calendar events and drafting emails.

Siri AI requires newer hardware, supports English at launch, and is unavailable in the European Union and China initially.
